Hooray! I finally got my Compendium of Curriosities, wish I'd bought it sooner, it's fab, only trouble is I now need all Tim's products! What's more I found the fab blog that hosts the CC challenge. Studio L3 follows the techniques in the book each week and this week it's Inked Grunge.
So here is my first official CCC entry
Tim Holtz products used
Inks:
Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss,
Tumbled Glass, Broken China,
Vintage Photo, Antique Linen,
Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade
Grungeboard frame and leaves
Grungepaper tattered flower
Bird from birdcage die
Collage embossing folder
Aged Mahogany embossing powder
Rock Candy stickles
other bits and bobs from stash until I add to my TH collection.
I'm not convinced but it's my first attempt at the challenge so hope you like it.
Thanks for looking.

ReplyDeleteYour card is absolutely beautiful! The inked grunge frame and flower are lovely, and the design is so well thought out. Love the little bird, and the soft blue panel in the background. All the little embellishments are perfect, too.
Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful art, and I very much hope we see you again next week!

ReplyDeleteHello Sarah,
ReplyDeletenice card : I like the random place of the different elements. It makes it very playful.
As I can see you do have some Tim stuff already, but google for the shop of Jennie and the "artistic stamper". She has an online shop in the UK and i bought a lot of Tim stuff at her booth in the craftshow in London in april.
The book is a really must have and resource book : you'll find out soon !
