Some recent cards

Hello everyone, hope you are all well and enjoying the lovely weather. My blog has been a bit neglected lately, but thought I'd share some of my recent cards with you.

Challenge Between Friends

Suzanne 2 over on Docrafts set this challenge 2 in 1. We had to make two cards using the same background paper but one was to be light shades and the other dark. The flowers were made using three different size punches, sprayed with water and screwed up.

Pirate Tilda

The treasure map was googled then burnt using a heatgun.

My lovely new Princess Tilda

The pin was one I made myself thanks to a tip off from Suzanne about this blog

Docrafts Card Kit Swap

This is the card I made and had to send the same bits to a parnter (Dec o Cards) to see what she could come up with, looking forward to seeing Sandra's creation.

I'll be back in a minute with a challenge card.

Simon Says Challenge

This is another card made at Crafty Devils, we had a pink and black theme this weekend, one of my favourite colour combo's. Although there isn't any black on this one it's very pink and girly, which leads me to the challenge at Simon Says - a card for a child. This Greeting Farm stamp is perfect for any little girl, coloured with Copics and more Glamour Dust, papers from stash, American Crafts cardstock a ribbon and few pearls.

How cute is this image, it's Anya and Laundry Time. Coloured with Copics, my favourite at the moment. The yummy papers are My Mind's Eye and were a freebie in a mag! Turquoise cardstock from DCWV stack. Computer generated sentiment.

YAY I won a challenge and a challenge between friends

I've won the One Stop Craft Fancy Edges and Borders challenge. The prize is 10.00 worth of scrapbook papers. That's made my day.

It was my turn to set a Challenge for Sandy C and Suzanne 2 over on Docrafts, so came up with Monochrome, which meant no fancy coloured pens or pencils just black and grey.

This is what I came up with using an old Sketch. First time I've attempted to colour in monochrome, not bad for a first attempt I suppose.

I coloured my Miss Anya in with Prisma pencils using Black and the Cool Greys, the DP's are Papermania Charcoal collection and a few bits of card from stash finnished with ribbon and Prima flowers.

Fussy and Fancy and Stamping for the Weekend

This is the third card for my Docrafts Christmas pledge but made it to fit in with the Fussy and Fancy Challenge "Winter" and the sketch over at Stamping for the Weekend.

I've used papermania papers with some cuttlebugged Whitewash card sanded to reveal the blue. Winter Miss Anya coloured with Copics. Added a couple of glittered flowers and Buzzcraft sentiment.

Anya and Friends Sketchy Saturday Challenge

Here's a card for the Sketchy Saturday challenge over at Greeting Farm's Anya & Friends using this fab sketch.

I've used one of the Wild Sprout digital downloads Dressy Ebony and coloured her with Copics. Not too great when it comes to black hair so hope it's okay. The papers are from Craftwork Cards, the black circle has been embossed with Cuttlebug's Swiss Dots folder and very hard to see but there are three gems in bottom left corner that have been coloured black.

Easel Calendar

YIPPEE, finally finnished my Christmas cards. I was going to have a card free night then remembered I had some of those little calendars, not much use next year, so I've made this is Easel Card with a Calendar for my Daughter's form teacher, who looks a bit like Miss Anya.

The papers are Papermania, Oval Nellie Snellen die, image coloured with Promakers.

Used DCWV papers inked the edges, flowers and vines cut with Sizzix die and Miss Anya coloured with Prisma's.

Think it will be a trip back to the poundshop and everyone will be getting calendars and candles for Christmas, lol.

Millie and Chelsea's birthday cards

Well I've had birthday cards to make for both my Daughter's, my youngest, Millie is two tomorrow and Chelsea is 11 on Tuesday. Where does the time go?

Millie is a huge Night Garden fan so it had to have that on. I used Colour and Print sheets from the Cbeebies Website and googled an image for the background.

Since I've started stamping I don't really like any of my earlier decoupage cards and I'm not really keen on this, but I know she'll love it.

Chelsea loves High School Musical but I wanted to do her a nice stamped one and her favourites are Miss Anya, so I used four of them on this. I'll make her a HSM one from her Brothers and Sister.

I used an 8 x 8 card blank and papers from a The English Paper Company, picked this pack up from a local market, not heard of them before. Stamped the images on Nestie Labels 4 and edged with ink, coloured with Promarkers. Added some Sizzix swirls flowers and a ribbon. Made a couple of shoe charms into earrings and hooked through middle of ribbon. The sentiment inside is by Cloud 9 and reads " Daughter's are little girls that grow up to be your best friend".

Copic Colouring

I spent last night playing with my Copics, after my first card was a success I decided to invest in some. However, I am not sure now and don't know whether to stick to Promarkers. The pastels are fine but the others are going to take some getting used to. See what you think.

1st Passion for Promarker Challenge

Bit of a last minute entry, hopefully just in time, my flippin scanner has been playing up and wouldn't work, so better hurry up and upload.

The colour scheme is Rose Pink and Lime. Used Sunny Miss Anya and scalloped oval and label 4 Nesties. The label is sponged and edged with Fluid Chalks. The papers are all by papermania and sentiment by CuddlyBuddly. The ribbons are threaded through Quicklets, like eyelets but you don't need a hammer and setting tool. Added some gems and sunglasses button to finnish.
