Altered Cd's

This is a present for a friend, who has just come out of hospital after having a stroke at the age of 39. She is doing well and came home after just two weeks rather than the 6-8 weeks they expected. She's got a lot of hard work ahead. As a crafter thought she would like this.





I used My Mind's Eye papers, distressed and glimmered them, stamped them all over with friendship quotes in Gold Brilliance, added some flowers made with the Blossom nestie and some die cut butterflys.

Mother's Day Gift

Sorry I've not been about lately, busy decorating the bathroom and wish it would end so I can get back to crafting.

I have managed to alter some Cd's to make a Gift for Mother's Day which was a challenge I set a couple of friends over on Docrafts.




The papers are My Mind's Eye and were freebies in a mag, one of the best freebies I've had. Inked the edges and stamped flourishes on them along with sentiments. The flowers are made using the Blossom nestie and the chipboard letters on the back are again MME.

I wasn't sure about this when I was making it but as it came together I started to like it and was tempted to keep it. I quickly put the MUM on the back and put pay to that!
