I've been making some more tags for Challenges 1 - 7 as I only began the challenges at number 8. I thought if I made them all as tags I could keep them in a book, but think I might get some 12 x 12 3d frames to show them all off in.
Challenge 1 - Water Stamping (red and orange)
Challenge 3 - Alcohol Ink Mono (purple with birdcage)
Challenge 4 - Shabby Chic (purple in black)
Challenge 5 - Distress Embossing (blue and green)
There's a couple I can't do at the moment because I need to get some Fragments, they are next on my evergrowing Wishlist, along with all the new Tim stuff when it reaches the UK.
To find out how I used all these techniques I'm afraid you'll just have to get the fab Compendium of Curiosites as part of the challenge rules state we cannot share them out of respect to the fabulous Tim's work. The challenge itself can be found over at Studio L3 hosted by the lovely Linda.
Hope you like what I've made so far.
sarah, what gorgeous tags and i like the idea of keeping them to record your progress, have been looking at the challenges and i have the book so must pull my finger out and have a go myself,x
ReplyDeleteThese are brilliant Sarah, I'd be afraid to use them they are far to good! xx
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Love all these tags.
ReplyDeleteI only started at challenge #7 and want to catch up too. I have done some alcohol mono backgrounds but not turned them in to anything yet.
I can't do this week's as I don't have any Distress Stickles so I sat and went through the whole book last night making a long shopping list!

ReplyDeleteHello Sarah,
ReplyDeletebravo to catch up on the previous challenges ! You 're better than me :)
I like the backgrounds of your tags: the waterstamping worked very well and the background of the second tag looks really interesting.I like it that the gold of the cage is reflected in the background.
greetings from belgium

Hi Sarah,
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job on the tags. I love the combination of colors that you used on the Eifel Tower tag! Way to get caught up! I joined in at CCC#6 (I think) and only had time to do 2 weeks and then life got in my way, lol...Thanks for the inspiration to get caught up myself!
gorjuss tags, they are stunning
ReplyDeletewell done
hugs
Judie xx
These are gorgeous and what a brilliant idea. I've only just come across the CCC and have had to rush out and buy the book (as you do, lol) so will be starting late. I may just 'borrow' your idea. xx
