A friend recently asked what I do with my distress inks and paints that I keep telling her about so thought I'd make something to send her.
Side 1
I stamped the Crafty Individuals image in Chipped Sapphire then using a wax paper resist technique with an embossing folder inked over it in Dusty Concord, Fired Brick and Victorian Velvet. Covered in Rock Candy Crackle Paint and rubbed Milled Lavender into it. Added some gems for a bit of bling.
Side 2
Covered in papers from a DCWV stack and a piece of text from a book, pasted with Claudine Hellmuth's multi medium, then Rock Candy Crackle glaze and distressed with Dusty Concord. Made the flower using Grungepaper, put a base coat of gesso on then inked with Dusty Concord and Victorian Velvet and overstamped text in gold.
Hopefully she will like it.
