CCC12 - Chipped Enamel

It's week 12 of the Compendium of Curriosities challenge, this weeks technique is chipped enamel which can be found on page 44 of Tim's bible.

I don't have many of the Tim Holtz embellishments, so used a metal tag I had with one of Tim's flowers and added them to a tag.

Colours used: Dusty Concord, Worn Lipstick and Bundled Sage.
Prima script background stamp

My fragments finally came, so hope to make those soon.

  10. Hello Sarah,

    great use of the technique.
I like the chipped enamel most on the flower. On the tag the shiny part of the metal shows through too much. I had the same "problem" and I only had those shiny metals tags to try this technique :(

Maybe next time I will try to color the metal first with alcohol inks to "age" it a bit more.
I'm still glad with how this technique works !

On your paper tag I like the colors and how they flow in each other.

    greetings from Belgium
    Inge
