Quixotic Paperie Challenge

The Challenge over at Quixotic Paperie is "Hot Chocolate" having just posted a card using my Whiff of Joy Hot Chocolate decided to use one of my new stamps from the Glitter Pot sale Foever Friends "Cup of Cocoa". Coloured with Copics and used Kay & Co papers with a sizzix swirl and papermania brads.

Although it's a Christmas stamp I think this could be used as a birthday or get well card but Docrafts have a Christmas Card pledge to make at least one Christmas Card a week for 2010 so this could be my first!

Fussy and Fancy blog challenge

This is for Fussy and Fancy's first blog challenge, the theme being anything new, I've gone for new home. Used "Home Tweet Home" a Digital Pencil image by Mo coloured with Prisma's, the papers are Making Memories and American Crafts cardstock. Computer generated sentiment.

Passion For Promarker Challenge

This week's challenge is a Sketch with the theme Love, using any colours. It's so long since I did a P4P challenge thought I should have a go. Apologies for my poor photography, need some lessons or tips if anyone has any.

The sketch is fabulous and I have used Kay & Co papers with some American Cardstock, the gorgeous image is a freebie from www.simplyinger.blogspot.com. I used Antique and Cocktail Pink for the coat, Ruby for the rose and scarf and for him I used Olive green and a combination of Cocoa, Cinnamon and Sandstone. Finally added some gorgous hearts cut out with a Martha Stewart punch and some paper roses.

Happy New Year!

Hi folks, hope you all had a fab New Year's Eve, mine was quiet at home all in bed apart from me and Daughter. Hubby had to go to work at 3 am.

Anyway I've promised to be a better blogger my first post of 2010 is for this week's Totally Gorjuss Design Team - Thank You. Perfect chance to send someone a card as a token of your appreciation for your fab pressies - hubby perhaps for those lovely crafting goodies? (not mine, lol).

I've used My Mind's Eye papers which I love, coloured my Gorjuss Girl with new Copics, still trying to get the hang of them, the sentiment and slider tag were cut with Cuttlebug dies.
