Totally Gorjuss DT card (3rd Challenge) - Doubling Up

Where do the weeks go? It's the third challenge over at Totally Gorjuss today and as the title states it's a doubling up one. Which means, we want you to use two or more Gorjuss Girls, top and bottom, side by side, inside and out - it's up to you. Can't wait to see them all.

Here's mine

I masked one of the girls and then stamped the other overlapping it (first time I've done this) then coloured with Prisma's.

I used an 8 x 8 card blank from Craftwork cards and papermania papers with white glittered cardstock and Vellum quote from DCWV. Made my own gem swirl by pricking a stamped flourish and using it as a template and finally ribbon, charm and sentiment made on Word.

My first Candle

Decided to have a go at a Candle, not tried this before, can't believe how easy it was. Always wondered how you stamped on a curved surface - derr!

Thought this Gorjuss Girl image was perfect, coloured with Promarkers. Added a Cloud 9 sentiment to the back.

It's not perfect so this one is going to sit and watch over me while I craft, but will definitely be doing some more for Christmas pressies.

Totally Gorjuss DT card - Challenge 2 "Shape Up"

Well it's Friday again and that means time for Totally Gorjuss' second challenge. As you can see from the title it is called "Shape Up" which means no square or rectangle cards. The DT cards are fabulous and really inspiring.

Here's mine, it's a Diamond Fold card.

Chose one of the sitting Gorjuss Girls coloured with Prisma's, which I masked then stamped the background. I must admit it took several attempts to get right! Used some pearl card from stash with papermania background. Added ribbon, flower and charm with sentiment to finnish.

1st DT card for Totally Gorjuss

Well today's the day, the very first blog Challenge for Totally Gorjuss, which I am honored to be part of the Design Team (my first official post!).

A really simple challenge to start with "Pink" everyone loves doing girly pink cards so what are you waiting for - come and join us http://totallygorjuss.blogspot.com

Don't forget you need to use your Gorjuss Girls!

Here's my card

I have used the Miss Bumble Gorjuss Girl coloured with Prisma's on a scalloped oval nestie. The backing papers are by Basic Grey from the Sultry Collection. Also used Blossom nesties and Sizzix flourish. The silver mesh ribbon was a bargain from the Pound shop and sentiment from a Fairy Doodles stamp set. Flowers from Abakhan glittered with Glamour Dust. Added a ribbon and charm to finnish. Think I put everything girly possible on it, lol.

One card, many challenges

Autumn/Fall seems to be a popular choice for the Challenges this week, so I'm entering this card in for the following:

Stampin for the weekend - orange, brown, leafy green
Stamp Something - brown + something
Secret Crafter - autumn colours
One Stop Craft - birthday
The Pink Elephant - Fall
Crafty Calendar - autumn

I have used a Gorjuss Girl, obviously, coloured with Prismas, the papers are a mixture of Papermania, My Mind's Eye and Coredination cardstock. Cuddly Buddly Sentiment and Hero Art flowers. I've folded one corner over to make a pocket and the sentiment is attached to a tag.

Mo's Digital Pencil Too - 1st Blog Challenge

Well first of all, thank you to Mo for setting this blog challenge up and to her DT team for their fantastic cards. I'll never be stuck for an image to use for these challenges as I love them all, only problem will be choosing which one.

Anyway the first challenge is a colour one and it's purple.

I've used the image of Jordan Multitasking and coloured her with Promarkers, cut out on a nestie.

The papers are by papermania with some coredinations cardstock.

Added a couple of Sizzix swirls and some buttons threaded with ribbon.

Playing with Prisma's

Well I've been busy playing with my new Prisma's and love them. Will be a while before I'm as good as everyone else but practise makes perfect.

Finally found the perfect thing to colour all those donated images and digi stamps in with, without them smudging.

I'm useless with Watercolours and really love the effect you get with the Prismas, and so easy to use too.

The softer look is perfect for colouring animals too, anyway here are a few of my new cards.
